After much careful thought, and taking into consideration the advice from our Government, we’ve made the tough decision to adjust our Christmas programme to reduce in-person contact as much as we possibly can. The latest information relating to the rapid infection of COVID as it relates to the Omicron variant is of extremely high concern to those leaders and health professionals we trust.
We’ve made the difficult decision to make all of our gatherings online only for the remainder of our Christmas programme – up to, and including, 2nd January. We have also made slight changes to some events and timings.
Please find below our revised plan for the remainder of our gatherings up until 02 Jan 2022:
December 20th ~ 10:00-15:00
Come along to our Cafe for festive drinks, eats and more. We continue to see this as an opportunity for those isolated and most vulnerable in our church family and city to use this space to connect and belong. Extra measures are being put in place to keep those coming and involved safe.
(closed on 27 December and reopening 03 January 2022)
December 19th ~ 10:30
What does an orange, sweets and a candle have to do with Christmas? Come along to find out more!
December 19th ~ 20:00
A chance to connect, pray and worship together online
December 24th ~ 20:00
Gather candles around your home, light them up, sit back and enjoy some carols, readings and a short message.
December 25th ~ 10:30
Join us for a short zoom call to celebrate together Christmas Day together.
January 2nd ~ 10:30
Just Christmas is an invitation to do Christmas differently. To give time that would normally be lost to the rush of Christmas festivities. To give money away that we would normally unnecessarily spend.
This year we are raising money to give to Shared Hope, an organisation which works directly with individuals and homes in extreme poverty accross developing countries. We are also going to collect jogging bottoms for our ClothesBank+.
